6 estilos de liderança que você precisa conhecer

Contrary to what many people imagine, leading a team is not as simple as that.
A leadership position requires knowledge and self-knowledge; Responsibility, professionalism and the essentials: empathy. A good leader needs to put himself in the place of the collaborator and the clients, since he is the professional that has the power to motivate, teach and, together with his team, to seek great solutions.
And have you been a good leader? There are 6 leadership styles – used by successful leaders – that can help you manage your team. Find out what they are:
// The Hare Leader
This style is for those times when you as a leader are working with a very tight deadline and need to move quickly so that you and your team deliver more results in no time.
It is not good to be a “hare leader” at all times, since focusing on delivery deadlines alone can lead employees to lose interest in the tasks. Empathy is important in this case, so focus on people so they can finish their chores. Find out by talking to your team about what can work and assist in your productivity.
// The dreamy leader
A dream leader can see beyond. He knows where he wants to get along with his team and company and shares that vision with the team, and the team knows that they can work harder to reach the goal.
To use this leadership style, see if all of your employees believe as much as you do that it will be possible to get where you want them to go. If they believe it is impossible to hit the target, you may end up talking to yourself and losing your team. Embase your ideas and show that it is possible. Motivate them!
// The leader director
This style of leadership can work well in times of crisis. The leader director knows what needs to be done and charges his employees. He keeps his head cool and manages to focus on success, solving what must be solved in a chaotic situation.
Now, maintaining that posture daily is not good, it takes balance. Only use this style of leadership when the situation really requires immediate and direct action, otherwise the employees will feel discouraged.
// The Greek leader
In this case, the leader takes democracy into account. He likes to hear everyone’s opinions from staff and other co-workers and think about how to solve issues that need to be improved so that everyone gets the best result.
If this is your leadership style, be careful and see if you are not asking for the opinion of the wrong people. Filter everything and make sure you are surrounded by professionals who understand your business and trust you.
// The affectionate leader
This leader cares very much about relationships within the company. He believes that a good relationship between the team can result in a good working environment and always seeks to understand the employees. The style works when the company is changing its dynamics, because that way the leader will be able to keep all united and moving in the same direction.
But when used excessively, this line of leadership can lower team performance. This is because, in this case, relationships end up being the main focus – leading the goals to oblivion.
// The leader coach
This leader acts as a coach. It seeks to understand what is going on with your employees and how you can help them grow professionally within the company, according to their abilities. Using this style, the business tends to evolve, as all seek to grow and evolve together.
The approach may not work if a collaborator is not feeling well inside the company and does not see himself growing in it, does not try to evolve and improve his skills. In this case it is best to use the leader’s stance until he or she can evolve.
Now you know 6 leadership styles to manage your team. Whatever your choice, we hope you will inspire your employees and, together, leverage your business. Success! ;)
